LEAH FITZGERALD-QUINN
Hello! My name is Leah and I am a versatile, multidisciplinary artist with expertise spanning performance, costume and production design, and film and theatre production.
Since graduating from a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Drama) in 2018 and a Certificate IV in Small Business and Entrepreneurship in 2023, I have enjoyed a diverse career across film, theatre, and events. In 2019, I completed my apprenticeship with the Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble before being accepted into the company’s Core Ensemble in 2020. There I spent three exceptionally rewarding and formative years, wearing a multiplicity of hats, transitioning between roles in performance, design, administration, finance, and production management. During this time, I have also trained with the Melbourne Shakespeare Company, Zen Zen Zo, Vulcana Circus, The Mask Family, Pipi Cucu Movement, D.I.V.E Theatre Collective, Wit Incorporated, and Backbone Youth Arts. My performance training has spanned the Linklater Voice Method, Biomechanics, Speaking Shakespeare in Your Own Voice, the Feldenkrais Method, Non-Verbal Mask Theatre, Theatre of the Oppressed, Stage Combat, Performing Outdoors, and Aerials, to name a few.
